Default Unusual Wear

Noticed this yesterday and was quite surprised. I don't know how it happened and last time I checked I didn't sweat acid. Im going to the dealer later this week to get my key and back windows fixed so I'll probably have them take a look at this too. Does anyone think this is a warranty item?

Ok, this is weird. I just noticed this on mine yesterday too. Exact same spot.

The only thing I can think of is a rivet on my pants rubbing up aganist it or something.

Strange that we noticed same day, same issue. Let me know if they dealer actually does anything for you. I was not going to bother going in. I am sure they will just say its normal wear and tear.

Thats not normal wear and tear on a new vehicle. Coin flip if the dealer will help (though they should). Cause that is crap, I mean if it was a 15-20 yr old vehicle then ya maybe normal. My '07 hasnt done that, 35,000 mi.

The dealership will probably say that it is your fault, that something was rubbing on it...that's what my dealership would say cuz they suck.

Yeah its probably caused by the side of your leg rubbing against it while your driving. Just tell your dealer its not your fault God blessed you with such a package that you have to sit with your legs that far apart

^^^ My thoughts exactly!!!

Here are the pictures of mine.

I think it’s the rivets on the corner of my pocket rubbing up against it.
