Awesome 09 outlander will be missed. Especially the shiftronic and paddle shifter! But it's time for a bigger vehicle because the kids are complaining about the 3rd row seat. So we purchased a new fully loaded 2013 Pilot! The next day- Our first trip was to Sequoia National Park, CA. My 13 y.o., now 5'-4",even volunteered to seat in the very back with two other kids coz it was sooo roomy! The Pilot was loaded with eight passengers and I have not heard of any complaints during the long trip. Whew! Everyone was happy.

The 2+-yr love affair(21,287 miles) with the Outlander was great! Considering I bought it used with 4k miles on it I had NO issues at all!!! I did not even go to a dealership for any mechanical work/warranty. The awd worked flawlessly in the snow especially with snow tires. Speaking of snow tires, pls see my fs posting on it.
