This is for the US owners. Has anyone found and instaled heated side mirrors, I want to know if the plug is in the door already or not. Where did you get the mirrors also? The conversion to have your drls as fog lights, installing the new light switch with fog control, how hard is it? I tried searchng for 15 mins and it kept saying no results or something like not specific enough so I gave up.

 

80 views and no one in he US tried swapping thier 07 side mirrors yet? Or try out the fog lights?

I seen the 08 and 09 say they come with heated side mirrors on mit website. Does anyone know if I can try putting the on my 07?

 

antlip, I live in Mexico and "update" to heated glass my exterior mirror, I am sure that our Out must be similar. My experience: I have the model 2007 XLS and the prewiring for this function (2 black wires) was ready until the connectors that is inside doors trim (E-01 and E-15), from this point was necessary to add cable to heating element of glass; reprograming to ETACS is not necessary because its works simultaneously with the rear window defroster. The search function in this forum is really messed up. I can't find anything when I search for things.

 

No matter what I put in for a search it wont return any results. I tried easy things like tire and door and still nothing. Oh well. The link put me in the right direction though. I found what I needed.
