a friend of mine who works heavily with eclipses is considering a joint venture with me to ad a turbo to my outtie.

now, i wouldnt be doing this normally, but hes giving me his parts very cheap and he has a pretty good knowledge of the engine.

so i guess stay tuned and we'll see what develops.

also, most likely if/when I do get his parts, I wont be able to do any installs until spring, however this will be more like a research thread should this project fly.

 

Good luck on the turbo setup- it should work fine if it's the same 4G63 or 4G69. You will need to custom fab an exhaust and probably program the ECU to manage the additional fuel needed. So you will be doing injectors, fuel pump, etc or will it be a mild boost? Is it a stock GST setup tou are going to run?
