Default what gas do you put in your outlander ?

I just got a brand new 2009 Outlander LS and I was just wondering what grade of gas do you guys put in yours. Is it 87 or 91 octane ? and if you put 91 octane, do you see a difference if gas consumption and is it worth the difference in price ?

Thanx

your engine is not built for high octane gas. it's a hardware thing. not a psycholigical thing.

In some countries, 87 octane is not available. 92 would be the least and can go 97+ on premium grade.

I would want to use CNG if there was a valid way to convert the engine, without voiding the warranty. Now that would be a real "gas" :-)

Ok. The owner's manual says that I can use gasolines of 87-92 octanes range. Here in Mexico, the gasoline of 92 octanes offers in addition improvements as far as cleaning and additives, reason for which is the one that I use
