RE: what kind of oil..
I use moble syn 5w20 with a pureone oil filter. Once the weather started warming back up I been getting 24 to 25 mpg. Thats actual miles calcuated from filling the tank back up not the display. I have used moble since having 2000 miles and so far all has been good. I do my oil changes at 3000 miles. I cant wait for it to get alittle bit warmer and have even better gas mileage. The last time I filled up I hit 340 miles from 1 tank.

RE: what kind of oil..
alright people here are the results i observe after my oil change last week with M1 0w20 AFE.
I was totally amazed how well it worked! When i first saw this new m1 at wallyworld, I think it was just another marketing crap m1 has to put up. But I was wrong...
So i went ahead and bought it to try it.
Enough with the blahblahblah..well here is the results:
HWY: I got about 26.8-28.4 (AVG) for a 40 min drive @ 65-70 mph
CITY: about 18.1-19.3 (AVG)
That is all done not driving like a maniac/speeding/etc..
This time the other day, I tried to drive agressive like I said above but the mpg wasn't that bad.
Driving Agressive:
HWY: 23.4-25.1 (Same as above) but @ 75-80 mph at times
CITY: no reason to record b/c I just don't want any bodies to hit...slow down!
That was all done at outside temperature was around 43-45*F. Still pretty cold here!
Can't wait till things heat up to get more MPG! I am definitley sticking to this M1 AFE for a while.

RE: what kind of oil..
hi tufduck. I am using the same oil you using too. m1 0w20 afe. I live here in houston and it is already hot down here and humid. So far so good and no problems at all. I am getting about your mpg and this oil is great!
I just had my oil change last month using m1 afe and told my dealer to check up it there is any metals in the oil filter and he said no. I wasn't sure if it protect well than the 5w/10wand he said its good. So far since living in a hot climate, I am definitely sticking to this oil for a while.
