Default Windshield Washer Nozzles

I've had my Outlandergoing on2 winters now, and on thing that's been driving me crazy is that the wiper nozzles freeze up all the time.

I'm not sure if it's the fluid I'm usng, but it's a pain when I leave for work in the morning and the fluid won't come out or the nozzles.

Are any of you other cold weather drivers experiencing the same problems? If not, what fluid are you usng? Maybe I'll give it a try.

We haven't had any issues with our nozzles. Just using either the blue or purple washer fluid. I think the purple is -35C whereas the blue is -25C.

Where do you live, and what temperature do you usually get?
You are probably using summer washer fluid, resulting a frozen nozzle.
Like others said, anything that's rated -40 is fine for winter driving. Colour doesn't matter, and colour doesn't mean anything, you have to look at the label to see what temperture can it withstand.
If you dont know what fluids you are using, I suggest on a day where the nozzle is not frozen, get all the fluids out, and put in -40 washer fluids.
As well, there are fluids with de-icer, those are great for winter!

I have never had that problem with the Outlander (in Montreal). Always make sure you clear the snow on the hood, specially around the nozzles. If any snow is left on the hood when you park the car it can siphon some water in the nozzles and freeze.
