Anyone done their recall?
2007-2013 outlander.

They took apart the front wiper area and replaced the motor AND linkage. Make sure they have both parts when you book your appointment!
Total wait about 4 hours but actual mechanic worked on it about 1 hour.
Book time 2 hours

 

Had this recall in UK in January of this year for a C-Crosser. I had noticed when wipers were first turned on there was a hesitation spot about 2/3 of the first swing and this replacement got rid of that.

Well worth doing (essential to do) as manufacture recall. There are sites where you can see all the recalls for your car and I checked and my car has had 5 or so that apply. Not bad for an 11 year old car

 

I had this done at the beginning of last month on my 2008 Outlander. They also replaced the entire sunroof!?!

Who am I to argue?

 

It was really nice since my sunroof was leaking anyway the seals had finally given up the ghost was really happy that Mitsubishi replaced it

 

The sunroof had a tendency to break loose and just fly off the car at speed, apparently. Had mine replaced as well. Haven't heard about the wiper recall yet.
