So my new to me Raider had shuddering issues dropping into overdrive.
then it suddenly went into limp mode - stuck in second gear.
Did the battery disconnect overnight and unplugged the computer. Put it back together and did the gas pedal reset and lights on/off reset.
Seems better, but only been on one test drive.
My question is - the computer (located on the passenger firewall area under the hood) seems unusually hot - even after a short trip.
sign of it going bad and needing replacement??
