be sure you got the extended service plan for your dodge dakota. oops, im sorry your mitsubishi raider!! your gonna need it. they are nice looking trucks, but they have ALOT of issues. i work on them everyday. and its not anything consistant like a true mitsubishi. its everything. wiring, pcm, trans, engine.... not trying to scare anyone, but thats the truth. i wouldnt buy one thats for sure. i hope your the lucky one with yours!! greg.........

I bet you work on a lot of Galants, Eclipses, Outlanders, etc. I've not had many problems with mine and none sence 30K. The only problem is getting SOME parts because of Dodges problems. I had hell getting a leather seat back that was damaged in a wreck, it took over 8 months.

Lol why not just buy a Dodge? They are actually cheaper. And they have more options....like a Hemi!

No Hemi option on the Dakota which is what the Raider is.

I have an 06 V8 Raider and the only problems I've had so far is both exhaust manifolds have cracked with 58,000 miles on the engine. The dealer replaced the manifolds and gaskets under warranty even though I had put a Magnaflow cat back system on the truck. Besides that it's best vehicle I've ever owned. I've put about $1,600.00 into aftermarket parts and now the truck is much faster than when it was new. And plus living in the midwest I love it in the snow and offroad and it has mudders for dirt road use. It's only gotten stuck once in the mud one but that was my fault for bottoming out!!
