Whats up, my names Dennis, im 17 from Massachusetts.
I just picked myself up a 1997 Eclipse RS for 2k yesterday.
It needs some work done to it but im willing to do it. Its my first 5spd and im finally getting used of driving my friends civic 5spd and took the eclipse out for a joyride yesterday and its amazing.
The only real noticable mods to the car are the cold air intake, Ractive muffler and Short throw shift kit.
It right now seems like it runs like gold, but i wanna add some headers and throw some 18" ALT 298's on.
The interior is decent shape, needs some definate touching up, small stuff mostly, cigarette lighter fixed, stains, small rips and real small stuff. Im adding in the cd deck today, im running an Xplod deck with a type e and an infinity reference, both 12"s both in ported box.
The exterior is decent, has some scratches in the rear end, hood and a dent in the front drivers side fender, no biggies, cheap fixes.

Im actually rather surprised that Jon (TheEngineer) didnt jump on that one...
Its not as much it wont fit in the bay as much as the frames are set up different on the two cars (RS/GS) (GST/GSX) the supports and mounts on the two are changed.

Haha thats cool ****, im near middleboro allll the time dude, I might be hittin you up to check out the car and have someone who actually knows about cars gimme some suggestions cause everyone except my friend steven, everyone around here is stupid as **** and think their the men so ya haha. And yeah i remember reading something on the cars about somethin being different for the fit.
