Default 2001 Mitsubishi Brake Pads

Hello. My name is Jason and I am new here, as you can probably tell by my posts. I own a 2001 Mitsubishi Diamate LS. I always got all maintenance done on it through a mechanic, but recently started to do my own work. I need to replace my front pads and wanted to get some advice on the brands. Here is the list I am considering.

Akebono
NPN
PBR
Advics-Sumi
Sumitomo

The last 2 are advertised to be OEM Quality. Any advice? Thank you.

Dude just go to autozone and get some pads. If you aren't racing, you don't have to worry about your pad selection.

Its not about racing. I want them to last, the last cheap ones I bought (for an old Maxima) lasted 3 months. Now that's a waste of money. I would rather get something good and have it last 12 months or more.

Well Autozone pads come with a lifetime warranty, meaning when they wear out you just take the old ones back and exchange them for new ones.

If you burned up pads in 3 months, the driver was either driving with a foot on the brake, or there is another issue.
