Recently bought a 96 3000gt cheap,of course had major issues...Ive personally rebuilt the top end,and had it painted at a local shop(which turned out well)...the noise im hearing souds like its a noisy tach cable,With everything ive done to this car,youd think Id know if it indeed has a tach cable or not.Some of the newer cars have electric tachs...so the question here is,is this tach driven by a cable,or is it electronic?......The noise soinds kind of like a belt hitting plastic,Im keeping the fingers crossed that I dont need to take the timing belt cover back off....any suggestions will be appreciated.
