i may be purchasing a DSM power AWD turbo eclipse in the next 2 weeks

its at 70k and has been taken good care of by my big bro who i may buy it from

its a 98 with no aftermarket parts and regular maintenance upkeep

now i asked around about what might be the 1st few things that will give me problems when getting a used 4cyl turbo with AWD

any input and advice will be greatly helpful, im practily begging becuz i really want this to work out for me

Welcome to the forum, go for it. A few things that may give you problems will be the clutch, and if he hasn't go a new timing belt or anyother belts it may be a problem, and also you want to make sure he took regular oil changes or else there may be turbo problems, and it could lead to crankwalk.

 

Yea, that's about it, nothing too out of the ordinary for a turbo car. Feel for lack of response, underpoweredness, or slipping.
