hello all
bought a 97 eclpise 5 speed that had been in storage for approx. 5 yrs. modified, turbo, wastegate,exhaust but no header and all kinds of timers, gauges and was told last time it ran was 2 yrs ago. got old gas drained, new filter checked plugs wires that sort of thing. turns over but no start. checked comp. zilch. timing off on right cam. got timing lined up, shot oil down in pistons and still no comp.mmmmm before when i turn crank with 1/2 rachet it got real tight. after setting time it turned over with wrench easily. im fearing the worst, any thoughts

well my fears were confirmed. not 1 but 8 valves bent. nice indents where they hit top of pistons. the guy i talked to about before i tore it down nailed it. the kid took it out for one last beat and with the non-inference thing about the 2.0 turbo and the amount of time the one cam was off well the damage was done. he called it belt flutter that caused the skip in the cam timing. am sticking with my fiat 124 spider as it cant get enough if the high rpm's .
