I have a 97 Mitsubishi Montero and when I unlock the doors with the remote, they automatically lock back. When I unlock them with the key, the car won't start. Now the back door won't unlock with the key or the remote. Any ideas? Thanks!

 

with my old 98 montero, whenever the battery was dying or dead, the locks wouldnt go up enough and just lock back up, and the car ofcourse wouldnt start. the door lock are electric. switch out yor batt, (but first jump it before anything, so you dont waste 100 bucks for a batt)if it still happens, its probaby a short
