I am Daniel. I have a 2003 Montero Limited with 230k. I have had to spend next to nothing on this vehicle outside of routine maintenance, and while I have let a few things slide and am in the process of getting those things taken care of. I intend to keep this car going for another 100k.

OK Cool Beans !

 

2003 Diamante ... when i put shift lever into drive, it like slams into gear and indicator light flashes from drive to neutral back and forth very quickly. it feels like i am taking off in third gear. What is going on and what is the fix for this please. Thanks in advance.

 

Got it.

2002 Montero Limited here. Someone else replaced the engine with one from an Eclipse GT. It's running, but I still need to sort some issues out. That's why I'm here.
