Hi could you possibly tell me if a 1999 mitsubishi L200 2.5 turbo diesel engine would go straight into a 53 reg L200 warrior? I have been informed the electrical fuel pump driven engine wont correspond, as the 1999 engine has a manually driven pump. can this work as i am just replacing the block and head. Many thanks, Andy.

Hey, I'm new here and I want to say hello to my fellow 3000 GT brothers and sisters. I'm trying to upgrade my stock radio and a few engine parts so I'm looking forward to reading posts about any tweaks you've done to improve your machines performance and boost up your engines. I'm driving a 1992 Mits 3000 GT, Black ext, Tan int, original everything. The previous owner used it as the Sunday car and now I am taking on all the responsibilities to bring it up to date and improve on it. I love my 3000 and It's hitting my pocket to do all the repairs that her neglected, but when i drove it to santa Cruz and back on a full tank and then some. I felt the power of the engine and knew it was frakin' worth it.

I'm heading out to fry's Thanksgiving day sale to get anew radio so wish me luck because we know how Fry's is with customer service. Hit me up with any ideas on increasing the life of my baby and any nice additions I can make to him. Pictures coming soon.

Peace!

Howdy, I'm a noob, I'm an avid sportsbike rider, Jeeper and crane mechanic. I'm trying to help my brother-in law/ friend with his 1985 Montero. He replaced the engine with a running engine until he installed it and at that point it lost spark. My guess is he's got something hooked up wrong. Has anyone got an engine schematic?
