Just picked up an 03 evo.

 

Nice man, how many miles on it and any mods? how much?

I was at one time the only EVO owner on the site. So anything EVO specific ask in the EVO section and I will do my best to find out if I dont have an answer.

it's stock except for a blitz turbo timer and apexi boost gauge.......oh and an alpine head unit. is has 23k miles on it, which i didnt think was to bad for an 03.

How much you pick the car up for??

 

asking price was twenty five (yeah right!).....we settled between twenty three and twenty four.

On my 03 it was bone stock 100%. The day I took it home it had 11,998 miles on it and they were asking $25,995 for it and I stole it for $21,995 lol. I am good at the game talked off $4k so I still feel now I could sell for more than I paid. I am at 35,500 miles now in a year and a month. I took the car home in may 2005 since then I have add full 3in turbo back exhaust SAFCII tuned by me using a AEM UEGO wideband Injen intake and upper and lower IC pipes HKS SSQ BOV MBC at 22PSI and I think that is all at this point.

If I had to suggest anythin to buy I say first 3 things Full exhaust, a wideband and a SAFC and lean the AFR out to 11.3-11.6 and you will have a smile from ear to ear those were my best mods they made a ton of power and got better gas miles
