Aussie 3000 gt lover
Hi to everyone. I have had my 3000 GT for 11 years and I love it. I have spent a lot on it over the years. It is r/h drive obviously here in Australia. They are quite rare here.
I am hoping that someone out there might be able to help me with my speedometer problem. When I first drive off from standstill the speedo doesn't work at all. Only when I reach about 70 kmph does it start to work and then it is accurate all the way up to 280kmph.
I have a workshop manual and I can see that the speedo sensor is on the side of the gearbox, but how on earth do you get at it? I can't even see the sensor from underneath. Can anyone enlighten me as to if it would be the sensor that is causing the speedo to malfunction or could it be something else. If it is the sensor how on earth do I get at it, as I can't even see it from underneath the car? Please help!!!!!!
