Hi all was driving my mitsubishi evo x on a 58 plate , down the road and i put it in sports mode and i put my foot down and it seemed to jump out of gear then the engine management light come on and it became very jerky , can anybody help me out

Need to know the code that was stored and see what caused the check engine light to come on. It will tell you the problem, or at least where to start looking.
