Default engine swap

ive got a 02 2.4 eclpise. i want to put in a 4G63t to replace my 4G64nt. i want to know if any has done it or if its possible with little work as far as cutting and welding mounts.

Why? Why would you do that? Why not just do a head swap and drop the turbo in. THere ya go, a "stroked" 4g63t. Itd cost a hell of a lot less too.

the 4g64 is a 4g63 with a bigger crank. its the same motor pretty much. Just biuld your internals and stab a Evo head on and bam your good to go

agreed. the 4g64 is well capable of being turbocharged even without building the block. But you get alot more out of building up the internals

Welcome aboard. Like everyone has said do the 4G63T head swap and you'll be turbo ready. Do a search on here and you'll find lots of info for the swap.
