I like this car! I need snow rims- who makes them? Where do I go? Tire rack - NO HELP!
38 offset seems to be a problem.

Snow rims? That's what the stock rims are for, lol. Granted your MR wheels are going to be lighter than most aftermarket ones unless, you're willing to pay.
Get some rims off an RS, lol.
What exactly are you looking for? I would think you want some rims that aren't going to waste your money via salt or sand. If so, I would get some from WheelsNext or something similar. The offset isn't that big of an issue really, neither is the 5x114 bolt pattern. As a matter of fact look for the bolt pattern first, then the offset, that should help you.

Oh yeah, welcome to MF and IMO, good choice of a car!

the offest is a big deal in the evo actually alot of wheels wont fit our cars unless the offset is right because of the huge calipers we got

Oh, nono. I meant that getting the offset isn't a big deal when rim shopping. I know getting the offset is necessary though when installing. Sorry, I wasn't clear about that....it was clear in my head though, lol.

Thank's
I was hoping the rims from the Subaru would fit the EVO.
It was the right bolt patt. but wrong offset. I need 38 they are 48.
The STI had the same big brakes. What I am looking for is-
17x7.5 with 38 offset
So I can put the STI snowtires on the EVO.
It's not going well as I want to keep this around $500.
The guys at WheelsNext were very helpful.
It is going to cost more, but I want the BBS rims off for the winter.
Thank's big time.
Randy
