hey all, i used to have a 1990 eagle talon tsi. loved the thing to death, but the clutch went out and i was to young to get it fixed so i junked it. anyways sometime this year id be interested in getting a 2nd gen. eclipse or even a talon. can anyone direct me to a good site that sells these cars. ive checked ebay and autotrader, just hoping theres more to choose from. im going to have about 4-5,000 bucks to buy it(xtra money for mods). i will be painting it, dropping it, rims, and engine mods, etc... so im wondering if theres a general walkthru this forum has, or like a how-to on easiest cheapist things you can add to give some horsies!! i am looking for the turbo model btw. thx all!!

Just make sure you go with an already turboed car.. Its much easier to get hp gains from and will be cheaper...

 

yessir... defintatelly getting a turbo. i have a MTX 06 mazda 6i. done quite a few mods alrdy and am ashamed to tell whp numbers. sooooo, this is gonna be a fun 2nd car for me.

If your only gonna have 4-5k to buy it. that is not gonna give you extra to mod it. That might even not be enough for the car itself, nvm extra. The only thing youd be able to get with that and have extra is an ESI.

The best first mod you can get for that car is a manual boost controller (MBC) and a boost guage. Its cheap and will give you a decent gain. Then like most cars the next couple of mods would be intake and exhuast, ect. After that it gets into mare advanced stuff
