Just a quick note to say Hi, I just bought a 02 Montero Limited (silver/black) and so far we love the truck. Moved from the Land Rover world to the Mitsu world and after driving it home thru a snowstorm I have to say this Mitsu has nothing to envy from the Land Rover Discovery. Actually, I love the idea of driving it simple rear wheel drive and only when needed hit the 4wheel drive, or even lock the center diff, which you can’t even do on the Disco II. Quick question: The Montero has an extended warranty for major issues (engine, tranny failure, etc), but I might be doing the simple maintenance stuff (tune up, brakes, etc). Are there any good websites to get Montero parts? How about a decent Mitsubishi repair shop in the Denver area? Thanks, Chelo

 

Welcome, there always ebay but what do I know, I don't drive a truck, and for the local repair shop try the main one that everyone at least heard of like brake plus, midas, etc. They do brake service, oil change, cv axle/boot, and mostly all the small major stuff.
