Hello fellow liscensed drivers...
Hello, my name is Roman and I drive a Red 2004 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. She is my first and she has been an outstanding partner. Unfortunately for us both, I am a reckless driver and have gotten into a couple accidents and have suffered through long repairs. As time has passed, I realize that it is not the car it used to be (bad repairs me think) and I am thinking about getting a 2007 GS Eclipse w/ 5 speed manual. I thought it would be a good idea to register here and get some input on ced car and ideas for worthwhile performance/cosmetic mods. (Is it a good idea to turbo this car, so and so lights look sick on it, you just have to get these gauges)
Thankyou
Thankyou
welcome to the forums. From people that have had the car on here, they've all said it was a great fun car to drive. For mods they are very scarce thus far. Road Race Engineering currently has a turbo kit for it, and there is a couple other places that will soon im sure.
First, learn how to drive. I can't believe you've been in so many wrecks. I would hate to think you are going to get a new car, then wreck it. That being said, If you're going to get a new Eclipse, get the GT with the sport package and the trim package. Not much more you would want to do with it (at least until some super aftermarket parts are offered). It has 263HP and a great sound system. I am 55 years old. I've bought four new Eclipses since 1991. My wife has the 2006 GT Orange with all the goodies including the terra cotta interior. My son drives an Eclipse. My first wife also drives a 2006 Eclipse (her third). And, my second wife just bought a new 2006 Eclipse. Great Cars, never had any problems with any of them. I've now had 4 Eclipses, 1 Mighty Max, 1 Diamante, 1 Galant, 1 Montero, 2 Montero Sports, and 2 3000GT's. All bought new except for the last one. I recently bought a '95 3000GT VR-4 in near new condition. As expected, it runs great.
