Exclamation Hello, new 1995 3000gt owner who needs help/advice

I just bought a 1995 3000gt with a bad transmission. Got it for cheap figured I'd rebuild what I can because I love the car. My question is would a 93 transmission be compatible with my 95 if everything else is the same just the year is different ? Please help I want to drive my baby

what you want to do. Is look up the chassis numbers of each year.
If the numbers are the same, it will probably fit.

Default Thank you!

Thank you for your help.
I was told recently that 93 and earlier use a cable while 94 and older use a speed sensor. Was also told the sensor could be moved to the older model to make it work. Does any of that sound plausible?
