Hello, newbie intro from this long time Mitsi owner
Good morning all,
I have come here to learn as much as I can about my old '88 V3000. This car was purchased new by my Father a wee while ago and I am looking to tidy it up and keep it driving nice. Still sounds the same as I remember as a young man.
My Dad was a Mitsi man for many years and so have I been, only once straying and buying a '03 Falcon. My first car was a '93 Mirage, then a '96 Legnum VR4 (oh boy I loved that car.....) But family came along and we traded it for an Outlander.
If you see the plate FIRMAN driving around Invercargill, that's me and it is supposed to read "Fire man" but when I gifted the plate to my old man for his birthday many years ago for some reason I thought that was better than FIREMN, but hey, it is the thought that counts right? Dad is my inspiration for my user handle on here as this car was his pride and joy for a long time. I know there are a few other V3000 owners in my neck of the woods, so don't be shy! Apologies in advance for the lack of hubcaps, that is on my list to resolve ASAP!
Anyway, I have a few questions for later on, but I am going to search my way through the forums first to see what I can learn so I don't become that guy who asks the frustrating questions.
