However, I'm hoping that those of you in the know! would give me some points to check prior to buying this used o2 montero xls or limited.

Do, you really have to use premium in these?

I'm interested in knowing which of the two you might select and why.

Also why would one choose the sport over the montero?

I pretty sure I would prefer the 3.5 to the 3.0, but is there any reason why one would be preferred over the other.

mainly will be used as primary driver. will unload 94 cutlass convertible and o5 fjr 1300.

THe ones I am looking at are xls 112,000 & 90,000 on the limited. around the same price asking 8500.00.

Of course I won't be driving it off the lots for that price. I'm thinking these things might be 7000. TMV or insurance pay out if totaled.
