Okay I'm new to this website and found while looking for advice on how to get my trunk open. I have a 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage and i've had it forever with no real problems. Last night I did laundry and then loaded it up in my trunk. When I got home I could not open my trunk. My key wont even turn. The inside lever has never worked to open it. Help, all my daughters clean clothes are in there! LOL... If I can't get it open then do you know of a service that could help me?

 

its nice and easy, if you in through the back seat and look at the locking mech you will see a tang on one side, all you need to do is pull the tang down and the trunk will open. mine is on the drivers side. but i do live in australia, so our drivers side is the american passengers side.
