Hey everyone!
Name's Dave, I'm the proud owner of abrand new07 Eclipse GT and I'm new to DSM and tuning cars in general, so I'm here to soak up as much knowlidge as possible. Seems like there's a lot of knowlidge here to be soaked up! Pleasure to meet everyone.

RE: Hey everyone!
Six speed manual. I love having a clutch and I don't have to drive in rush hour traffic to get to my new job, it seemed like the only viable option . I just got some EibachProKit coilsprings for it too, haven't put them on yet.

RE: Hey everyone!
Thanks! Autos are weak, lol. Well I had what I thought was a pretty good plan, but lurking around here for a while I've started feeling less and less sure of myself. I'm going to Iraq in August, I figured up until then I'm gonna do suspension mods mostly. Step two is either gonna be some good lightweight rims, or struts to complement the springs. I've thought about a rear strut tower bar too. As far as rims go, I want to make sure if I get some real wider ones that they won't decrease my turning radius any more than it already is, especially with 1.5 less inches of clearance. Again, I really have no experiance in the matter. When I get back from Iraq I'm gonna have a bunch of money I wasn't spending at the bar, so I'm gonna have to come up with a creative way to turn say, 10 grand into horses. I want to do it the right way though, make sure that if I'm pushing a rediculous amount of boost that I won't have to worry about blowing that 10 grand through the hood of my car. I'm mostly here for suggestions in that regard, seeing as the more I look into this the more I realize it's not just a simple matter of buying twin turbos and stapling them on.
