Hi Ive been here before but I like to say something about my
first time here. I was just checking out the forsale/classifieds
and got interested in a racing seat. The topic starter was chadinfla
and I was RIPPED. It took while for our agreement, but when
it came to me sending my money, I never got what I payed for, and
in return I was scammed. Dont buy from him. I sent my payment out since
October of 06' and havent gotten crap. Yeah I know its a bad start, but
ever since I came to this site, I'm not happy because of that incident. Yeah
I like to vent about this. Dont buy from chadinfla aka CHAD HARPER!!

 

sadly no one can control who puts things for sale on here.. I personally wouldnt buy anything from anyone that isnt really active on the forums.. If they dont post regularly I wouldnt even consider it...

 

Well sorry you got the shaft. there is not much for any of the members here to do to help track you money or item.

But due to these problems we have been working on setting for sale section rules and guidlines. We are thinking that in order to post anything up for sale the member should be active here for a month and have at least 20 posts. those are not exact numbers but they are roughly what we are working on

 

that sux dude, trust me, not everybody on here is like that but they are out there. just curous though what kind of seat was it? how much did you pay and how did you send the money? just a couple tips always get pics, always draw up some kind of agreement if it's somebody you don't know (and if you don't know them you shouldn't trust them) and NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER send the money WesternUnion or any kind of transfer like that... there is no possible way to get your money back or prove anything. paypal is the safest bet and even it isn't full proof. i got ripped for about 700 big ones last year over somethin stupid.... seemed real enough, had a web site, had reviews, feedback... but got royally effed up.... i flew off my hinges, i went up as far as the FBI and Secret Service, the only thing i got out of it was a $20 reward for turning in a scammer and their website was taken away, other than that... i lost 680 bucks.

 

yea man sorry about that. It really sucks because its hard for us to have control over that. We cant know until the deal is done. But like emonz said, we are working on trying to fix these problems to eveviate future issues, becuase believe me, your not the first.
