Default Hi

Hey, Im new...juss joined the forum. I guess I'll intro my self....My name is Jose, I'm 17 n a senior in at Fossil Ridge High School, I live in Fort Worth, Texas, I dont have my car yet but I'm hoping to have either a 97-99 Eclipse GSX or 3000GT VR-4 by christmas or summer, I kno a lil bit bout engine tuning...I mostly kno bout turbos, and I kno some stuff bout exterior. If I did get my Eclipse, I'd prolly get AEM cold air n if I can HKS exhaust...if not then I'd prolly get GReddy Exhaust, then upgrade the turbo n BOV with HKS turbo n BOV, then get sum rims, also put the 12-piece Queweehs body kit on it....it cost bout $1,000 n alot of people say it's a bitch 2 install. Wat I really want is an Evolution 7....I dont really like the 8's, mainly cuz they lost bout 7 hp an their front end kina looks feminine to me...idk y it juss does lol. My ultimate dream car 2 have is a '99 Skyline GT-R (R34).

Welcome, I'm in Dallas. If you're really serious about getting a dsm, I know plenty of people with them. The 2g gsx's are going to be really hard to find in this area but don't give up. I searched for 2 yrs before I found my first gs-t.

Whats up?

You got any questions let us know. There are FAAAAAAAAAAAR better parts out there than HKS, GREDDY, or the like companies can give you in the DSM dept. If you want we can save you some time and MONEY.

DON"T BUY THE QWEEHS body kit. I bought it and not only did my body guy laugh at me and say that it was going to take so much work to mold the peices to the car, but molding fiberglass to the stock eurathane (sp) is difficult, and I didn't get the side skirts either. Im anti body kit. it took me 8 months to get one shipped to me that both fit and came complete

Greddy or HKS exhaust wold not be the best exhaust for a turbo DSM you'll want Apexi n1 they make the best exhaust for DSM's, and for intake cai?? You'll need short ram if you plan on buying a turbo, I don't think the lancer 7 wasn't made in the U.S.
