Hi everyone,

I'm new here and just got a 2006 lancer EVO9
and don't know much about it.

I just installed a Greddy type RS and i have some problem with it. the idel kinda baggle at around 60-85 mph.
Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this.

Welcome... post pics of it and let me see the engine bay with the BOV. is it being vented or recirc'd? if it is vented that is your problem

 

No, Its not vented back. I think i have to adjust the valve pressure. but not to sure. i have it set up to same pressure as the stock bypass valve. The pressure is by feel tho. by pushing against it with my thum

 

your thumb wont tell you anything. is there a tube thar goes from teh BOV to the intake so it is recirculated back to the intake??

 

yea,
there is a line that lead back to the intake. But the BOV does not vant back to the turbo.

 

the intake connects to the turbo.... the Upper intercooler pipe goes into the engine. the BOV shoud be connected one end to the pper intercooler pipe and another end to the intake.


take a pics of it and I should e able to see it
