So here I am joining this forum, with a few questions about my cars, hopefully someone can help.

Welcome to the forum. I'm from MN, too. Blaine, but used to live in the Twin Cities.

 

Just joined too. I'm in WV (hey, no hillbilly jokes, I do wear shoes, no, my father and my uncle are not the same guy...I'm in the minority here haha). Anyway, 36 year old female who has quite a fascination for cars. I do not presently own a Mitsubishi (I feel like a traitor). I have an RX-8. BUT, I traded my 01 Spyder GT for it. Loved my Spyder (red and black)!! OK, so why did I trade right? Well, biggest factor was my warranty was out. Hate making the same payment when you don't have that security blanket. Also, I wanted to get rid of my dirty, fading cloth interior (I'll go leather next time). I was going for an 05 Titanium Grey GTS Spyder but it sold before I made my mind up. Lastly, with the news of the new Eclipse coming out, I wanted rid of my "old" body style before it lost any more value. I ended up with a yellow RX8 which I really like but I'm getting pretty excited about the 07 Spyder next spring!!

 

Thought the Rx-8 styling was pretty cool, but the performance levels were a complete disappointment. I was planning on getting a 1995 Mazda Rx-7, but after doing some research changed my mind. As much as I love those Rx-7s, the rotary engines just aren't reliable enough for me. But ANYWAY, glad to have you here. Nice to meetcha.

 

Glad to have you aboard though I dunno about the whole Mazda thing... Kinda thought the new RX-8 was a bit ugly lineswise.

 

Well I kinda liked the split suicide doors thing. I think the Lambo-doors thing is totally played out these days.

But like I said, the performance of the Rx8 was a total disappointment.
