1990 Eclipse GSX. i have no pics of my car yet.

 

pls help my engine light is on!!! i am going to get the code read tom. i have 2002 mitsubishi lancer.the only mod that i did o the car is change the air intake,change the factory catalytic converter to a high flow cat on the buttom of the car.i tried changing the headers of my lancer,that's when the light started.the headers that i installed didn't have a hole for the o2 sensor so i went to a shop to put one on.but the light is still on.so i tried to put the factory headers and put a brand new o2 sensor, coz the code that i got it said that i have a bad o2 sensor.when i change it and have the original headers on i o2 sensor code went away, now i only have one code remaining but i lost the paper i am going to have it re-read again.

car is running good just the light is on.i also have changed the mass flow sensor.

pls help co'z i don't want to spend a fortune again by just taking this to mitsubishi. thank you......anysuggestion accepted..

 

it can be the air intake. the mass flow is hearing more air because your getting more air going into it. i seen this happen befor in a friends car. the engine light started turning on a month atfer he put the air intake on. thats all the mods he did.
