well...i'm hoping it's not going to be that way with mine. i'm not sure if i'm going to trade it in already or not, BUT...last night we changed the spark plugs, and that got rid of most of the problem. i had a rough idle, and it was kind of weird, but it sounded like my car was back firing and coming out through my intake. [&:]

but since we changed the spark plugs, it's been better on the idle, and i haven't heard any back firing so far today. and we're going to change the thermostat tomorrow, and get a new valve cover and what not. so i hope this car turns out ok, i really like it and all i just don't want to have to put a lot of money into it

 

be prepared for a head gasket issue sometime in the future, since the ones in those cars are pretty weak

Hey might as well skip the bullsh it eh? Well if the car hasnt had a headgasket replacement already then it means it has been driven lightly

 

i'm actually going to replace the head gasket...just need to get the time to do it...bleh....
