Hey all, this is my first time on a forum, my first post, and im a first time mitsubishi buyer/owner... just recently bought a 95 eclipse rs... thought i might be able to get some good info/tips/advice for doing mods... i want to do some of everything... performance/interior/exterior/audio/lights, but i am working on a bit of a budget so if there are any low cost (i dont want to substitute quality though) ideas for mods i'd be interested in hearing about them.

 

Welcome. And all i can say is dont expect performance out of that car. I would go any further than exhuast/intake. For performance mods. And then just stick with looks.

 

Sell it. Buy a GST/X... Sumthin with a 4g63t

I don't really expect too much out of that car, but I wouldn't mind having a bit more than what it has stock... and I'm really not going to complain about the car too much, I got it for $500 and there really isnt anything wrong with it except for some minor cosmetic body damage. It has a clean title history and 163,000 miles on it and it still runs great. It's pretty much going to be my daily driver now since I totalled my '00 Neon ES.I probably still would have bought the car anyway just asa project to play around with. Anyway, just looking to have some fun with it without going overboard.

 

There you go again....... always tryn to pressure people into sellin their 420A just let them be! I'm sure that if he really wanted performance he woulda gone wit a GS-T/X.

But anywho nice inprovement from a neon to an Eclipse...... Oh and welcome

Well I know that! But their always tryn to convince people to get rid of their 420A. Alot of people get the RS/GS model just for the looks and maybe do a little mod here and there.

 

Its a non turbo 2g Eclipse if anything its a downgrade from the Neon.

if he had the DOHC Neon that is.
