I know my fair share, but I also have my fair share of mistakes. I post off memory, and don't research before I make my posts. If I'm wrong, I'm corrected, and I normally leave it at that.</P>

My dad restores older cars. No, he's not a "mechanic" or anything like that. He knows his fair share, as do most peoples dads. Mine's just more interested than most dads in cars, and supports me with mine. I was funded the car, the kit, etc. The paint, stereo, etc. I afforded, or had contacts with from local stores that cut me deals.</P>

I bought my 1g TSI as a car to use while my eclipse was worked on, sat, or being prepped. Ultimately on the way to a local junk yard, a friend who was following me decided not to pay attention to me turning. He slammed into my rear end doing 40 while I was doing about 2. So, I got insurance money, got a little more help (at a limit) from my parents, and forked out the remaining difference to buy my modded GSX for 5K as is. I didn't do the mods to it. Sure, I had the mods in store for my TSI, but I figured why not buy an already built GSX for 5K, and save a load on paying for parts that are already on it, and use most of them for my own plans later. So, I bought it. THe owner was a friend of mine, and bought a new Cobra SVT, so he got rid of his DSM claiming insurance rates and reliability made'em get rid of his GSX.</P>

Yes, I also have a rebuild in progress. No, it's not being built this moment, but I'm using the motor from my TSI, and putting parts together now for my tear down and rebuild of my TSI motor. It's called saving and cashing 4 months of pay checks to afford my mods. I just don't spend my money on random things, I save and buy all at once.</P>

Kid, you made so many bad comments about me and the advice i gave people. I've been in the scene for a long time and usually i don't have to look things up. I've been repeating myself for quite some time to questions like "gsx vs. gst" and "best turbo" and questions like that. Since you've came around and told everbody i was wrong, For the sake of double checking, i went through and double checked a lot of things i told people. Turns out i'm still right. When you say you're gonna be proven wrong and "leave it at that", what about apologizing? Are you that rude or what?<FONT color=black> The point is if you're wrong, own up to it. Don't just sit there and act like nothing happened. I joined this forum because i didn't think the ricey kids would come over here due to the fact that it seems a little too technical. You haven't helped or given any good advice since you've been here, and even told me i was wrong on so many accounts. And on top of that, you don't think you need to apologize to me or anyone else on this forum. There's a limited amount of people on this forum despite what the registry says, and most of them have read our little arguments on here. The one thing they see is that although i'm right and prove you wrong, you never say "i was wrong" or "my bad". Instead you said "who cares" or don't have any rebuttal at all. And that's why it's so hard for me to believe you have these cars. From my POV, you don't seem responsibleoreven conservative enough to have modified your cars. I hope you understand this.....i'm not doubting you because of your age or intelligence, but because of your character. </FONT></P>

Time for my "WB special" mode(i frequently go into this mode when giving advice so bear with me<IMG src=smileys/smiley6.gif border="0">). As you grow older, the one thing people will remember about you is your character. You can be as smart as anyone or be as old as anything, but if you are a jerk or dishonest or steal, it reflects on your character. And people take note. However, if your afoolishyoungman but still show people thatyouhave intellectualhumility, people will think far greater of you. The point i'm trying to get across is that you should care what people think about you. To certain point though. Self Righteousness and Ignorance are road blocks to thinking well and living well. You don't have to know everything for people to take you seriously either, being inquisitive and asking questions will show people that you're willing to open your mind and learn. And when one person learns, it makes the other person feel just as good because they're doing something good and helpful. Just try and learn as much as you can.....and when someone asks you a question you can feel good because you know what is right.</P>

Stop while Im ahead how? Yes, I do have 2 DSMs with 1 crashed. The talon being hit caused me to get the GSX. Insurance allowed me to keep the Talon. I can scan my time slip from the GSX, post pictures, etc. But you not believing me isn't my problem. I don't have to sit here and prove to you what I do and don't have. I've stated what I own, what the mods are, etc. That's good enough for me, because I know the truth is in what I posted. So wether me owning 3 DSMs at the age of 17 gets on someones nerves, tough s**t, deal with it.<edited><editID>Colossus</editID><editDate>38076.741087963</editDate></edited>

Fine kid, believe what you wanna believe, and we'll belive what we wanna believe. But don't expect us to take you seriously if you can't show proof. Case in point, on one of the other forums i'm on(the yahoo 4g64 forum) we just found a kid who's on cardomains.com. He has a tricked out spyder with a 20g turbo, dohc head swap, ton's of suspension mods, and is working on the AWD conversion. He has timeslips, dynosheets, and all kinds of other proof that he said he's done what to his car. He's also only still in high school. Now you can see his car because he's go a lot of pics. Lot's and lot's of pics....of the turbo, suspension setup, the car at a drag strip, the enginebay and whatever. Now it's a very convincing site and you would almost tend to belive that he's done all this to his car.....except everything is someone elses. He shows a pic of the 16g turbo and install he had on there before, and it's actually a pic stolen from what one of our members did. The dyno sheet was the exact same dyno sheet that a guy who wroks at EIP did with his spyder, but he had a t3/t4 turbo. The time slip looked like a grocery receipt. All the pics of his suspension were taken from kim's site, if i remember correctly. The pic of when he was "upgrading" to a 20g was also kim's. The pics where he blocked the holes for the head swap are about 4 years old and have been on the 4g64 tech site forever. He also thinks his spyder weighs 3500lbs, but he ran a low 12 with 340hp and fwd. He knows some things about the spyder, however he's stolen all the pics and lied about everything he's done. Plus he's still in high school.I don't know the webpage, but i know he's on the cardomains site somewhere. We aren't even sure if it's his car or not....he's never been a member of the yahoo groups or the 4g64 sites(we're kind of a small community so we know when someone new comes in). Now, i'm not saying you're like him, but you do kinda remind of that guy. No proof, and you don't know that much about 1g's or 2g's(excet that HRC has the fastest 420A, i've seen you post that a million times)....i don't see why you should be correcting me. I'm still waiting for the timeslip....or a pic of you with your car(2g) at a show.

I have no pictures of me, with the car at a show. I've got those seperately, but not together. You'd have to wait for the next show. As for the slip, I'll do it, but I'm normally at school when I post, and never remember until not, and I'm to damn lazy to go downstairs. So, I'll do it tomorrow.</P>

Think you'd believe me if I showed you this slip, then showed you the car in my driveway, with my 2g widebody behind it in the garage, and it had the number from the track still written on the window, matching my timeslip? I did it Friday, and I haven't washed the car. It's still on there.</P>
