Default keyless entry problem(s)

Hi. I bought a 2014 Outlander sport in October 2014. During this summer, the door was open, I removed the key, and after the display panel stated "remove key". I didn't have time to investigate. A few days later I went to get in the rear hatch but it would unlock after I pressed the button on the key several times. I tried the driver's door, that was open (because it was never locked). But passenger and rear doors wouldn't unlock. I went and got the spare key. Same problems. Then I noticed I wasn't hearing the unlock sound usually made, nor did I hear the lock sound. I took it do the dealer. It was working by the time I got there a few hours later. He went though everything, including take the door apart. He suggest I keep both keys together on the key ring (??). The keyless lock/unlock continues to function normally, but about a month ago I accidentally hit the panic button then turned it off. Now the panick button doesn't work at all. The red light lights up when it's pressed. The dealer indicated full battery life in both keys. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
