maybe so...but k20s arent exactly cheap....
getting a civic hatch into the 13s isnt that hard actually. a b16 swap, and a nice tank of nitrous will get you there. But personally i never consider nitrous a factor in how fast your car is. To me, its cheating.

i agree i am not a honda fan but i am sorry guys but honda ownes all when it comes to NA 4 cylinders....and they really do have potential. The B18/K20 motors have just as much potential as a typical 4g63.

and at the end of the day hondas still sound like ***. and for respect from me I would need to see a honda run under 13s. these days 13s in not even fast so many car come out of the factorty in the 12s now so 13s is hardly condending

he's scared from the DSM Power!! lol you can make a honda quick, cheaply. i just bought a del sol a couple months ago, bought a blown b18c (gsr motor) for 500 bucks. rebuild bottom end - 1k, head work - 600, 100shot nitrous system - 450. and bam i've got a fast lil car for about 3500 bucks.

i work on hondas often since it's what the young crowd likes and enjoys, then it's what brings in the most customers. When hondas are done CORRECTLY. it's very cheap to go fast. Sebba, you obviously dont know how inexpensive it really is. Honda engines have much potential, the fact that thier not exactly the most visually appealing car is a diffrent story, Or the fact that alot of backyard mechanics that THINK they know what their doing build them, and they blow easily is a diffrence also. We have currently a swap with a gsr, with bolt ons, nothing major except ctr cams, in a ef hatch (89') and ran a 13.6 at 99MPh all motor. So far the car has been taken to the track every week, and it's holding up just fine. TOTAL cost of everything, including car, less then 4500.
Some may argue that evo's go faster for cheaper but you also did spend 30k+ on the car it self, unless ofcorse you have connection.
Now dont get me wrong, personally i myself dont like them, but i cant rip them either because a bunch of idiots that dont know anything, give them a bad reputation by building them horribly.

actually the RSX s can hit 13s on dont ons and hondata. there is no expensive mods there. of course your going to go faster in the Evo for cheaper the car is faster stock. add a couple hundred dollars and you seeing 12s all day. like compose said you cant really judge based on the idiots out there cause when I was in florida I met some of the stupidest Evo owners in the world I swear (John can confirm too he was there). so they had a nice car tat was not cheap and they still had the brains of some of those typical honda "Kids"
