Kzoo/Portage MI
Hiya-
I picked up a 2000 Eclipse GT from TX about 2 months ago. I have a slightly warped rear rotor that had been bugging me, so i picked up rear pads & rotors last night, figured it would be quick to tear down and replace the rears until i couldn't get the top slide pin out of the caliper bracket & could not get the rotor off. I found this forum while looking for answers.
I learned that I can run a pair of bolts into the rotor to break it free - since the hammer didn't help loosen the rotor up but it made me feel better.
i'll see if there's a thread on the guidepins
This is my first Mitsubishi. No intentions of gettin ricey with it. I like the handling, 5sp, & the seats are pretty comfortable.
