This may be silly question, but I just cant find an answer
I have l200 and when ipod or USB is hooked up it is incredibly slow to load. I gather this is because it tries to load everything on ipod

Anyway, in consequence sometimes when I turn off engine - say at gas station - I dont want to turn off the electrics as all the data seems to be lost and all has to be loaded again.

I have a button press ignition and manual pickup. I know how to get into accessory mode without starting engine, but not how to only turn off engine without remaining in this setting.
I am sure I could do this with key igntion?
Please can someone tell me what I am missing here.
