L300 Oil Level Sensor
Hi,
Here's my story
I have a 2009 L300 2.4EFI and have to change the Oil Level Sensor. Ordered the part number through the local Mitsubishi dealer based on the vehicles Rego and VIN number but...... wrong part MD 302294. What happened is that the motor had been replaced a couple of owners ago so I have no idea what the associated VIN number the replacement motor is associated with. The dealer told me that without the VIN number they couldn't help. So I removed the sensor and found a number stamped on it 35A4 and went to good ole Dr Google - found a corresponding second hand Oil Sensor in the UK which had the Part Number included MD302293. Asked the local dealer to order it and they said the part number and description was valid for OZ they then told me the part won't be delivered to Melbourne until July this year.
Question 1. Does anybody know if there is any alternate supplier (even overseas) that could supply the part?
Question 2. Is there a way I can find out the type of motor the replacement one is so that if I have to order any more bits for this ole clanger at least I'll know what the model of motor is?
Would appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks
