Hey everyone. I'm looking into buying a Mitsubishi in the next week or so, and I wanted to get some technical knowledge along with other peoples thoughts. I've done quite a bit with cars. My first was an offroad rig: '90 Ramcharger, over 300 Hp when I was done, not too hard out of a 5.9 V-8. Not much else done to it, I was still learning. I then went import with an '00 Toyota Celica GT (bought it with 11 miles on it). Didn't do too much to the motor on it. DC Headers, K&N CAI. I worked on the suspension though. Put a Hotchkis TVS Stage 2 on, dropping it about 1.5 inches, 17" MSR's, and a few other minor alterations. I knew it wasn't going to be the fastest, but it sure was fun on windy roads. Lately I've stayed away from upgrading any cars. All I drive now is my old Jeep. I've modded it, but nothing too drastic. 4" lift, 31" Mudders, Winch & Bumper, a few engine upgrades and that's it. I've worked on everything from trucks to classic cars to imports. I'm fairly handy, but I'll never claim to knowing it all.

What I'm looking at buying is an '00 Mitsubishi Galant ES V6. They're asking 6k, but I'm thinking 5k's closer to where it should be. Is there anything I should look out for? is the Galant a decent ride? (I've got a family that will occasionally be riding with me, so nothing too small) What are some mods you guys suggest? I was thinking suspension drop (like Hotchkis had for my Celica), and a turbo. I can probably handle the suspension, but Turbo's are not my forte. Any help and input would be appreciated.
