Hey, I have a 98 talon tsi awd, and its running really rich. I have a 255lph fuel pump, 3" gm maf sensor with maft version 2.02, 750cc injectors(im told), aeromotive fpr, It just started running this way about a week ago. I've tried messing with the translator, cleaning the mass air sensor, and I changed the oxygen sensor. Im new to dsms so please help me. thanks

 

Uuh... no tuning device? Untined injectors are like a loose cannon

 

I've got a maft, but the thing is it was running just fine up untill about a week ago, then it started running rich and its getting worse every day.

 

What are you actually using to tune with.

Is there a temperature difference? The MAF-T is a piece of sh it

 

I got a narrow band a/f gauge thats about it, and theres no temp difference. It acts like something went bad, cause it just all of a sudden happened. I thought maybe maf sensor, I cleaned it but that didnt work.

 

Are you using a narrowband or a wideband that actually displays real live numbers?

yeah I know, even if i turn my fuel way down it still runs rich, thats why i think its a sensor. It will blowhuge clouds of smoke out the exhaust at idle, but only after its warmed up, doesn't smoke when its cold.

 

Its useless because its a narrowband. Get a wideband
