Alright im new to forums. I just purchased a 2009 Black Lancer GTS with all the extras. I am in love with my car. Trying to get some ideas of what is out there for my sweet ride.

May I suggest rims and a tint?

 

It came with factory tint so im going to have to strip that off. I hate if people can see inside the car. Not sure if im going to get different rims tho.

Im thinking about going with crome. I dont know if i should stay with the 18 or go a little bigger.

 

I personally hate chrome.

Also, 18"s are the biggest I would go with for a number of reasons. One, anything bigger will change the cars handling (for the worse). They are also really heavy, and increacing rotational mass will make the car slower. On top of all that, every douche bag has ****ing chrome rims.... they are just tacky.

Also, they are extremely hard to keep clean, and show every tiny little chip.

 

I have alot to think about i guess. I know what you mean about seeing everyone with crome rims. I also never thought about the weight issue either.

I think im gonna hold off on the rims for now and look into getting the HID conversion. I seen a few post on here and the HID really looks good.
