im new on the forum and new to owning a Mitsubishi. I have a 1988 mighty max 2wd and I recently blew the motor, looking into full motor rebuild and building the truck for racing. new motor is a 2.6l g54b motor. parts going into it are:
-10 over pistons
-silent shaft delete
-racing header
-light flywheel
-racing cam shaft
-custom exhaust system
-weber carburetor

Swap in a 4G63T, that's how it's done.

sweet. Definitely interested in the silent shaft removal, as was going to do it on my truck.
From memory you hav to tap a bolt into the lower so you can hold the oil pump while tensioning cam chain. And its just a matter of welding the oil passages.

Also interested in the f/w.

Post pics!

the kits aren't available in little ole NZ. and as far as i can work out, they're just as i described, for a half hour in the workshop, would probably work out cheaper.
keep us posted.
cheers
