Default new member with a beast

hey , just picked up a new toy . I am a vw guy all the way but i do know that there are some cars out there that are rare and great cars . well i came cross this one last week after driving by it for a year and a half . so i stopped in , banged on the door and ended up purchasing it for a very , very good price . ( i wont go into what i payed for it , but you wont believe me ) . the thing with it is that the guy said he cracked the block . the car has alittle over 200k on the clock but is super clean in and out and up and down . so i am going to put a new one in it .
so with that said , you are going to hear from me a lot as i look for anwsers. I havent even tryed to start it yet to see if it turns over but i will get that done soon . here is a pic of the new wipe

as i looked under the car , it looks like this has 4 wheel sterring , does the 94 come with it . and it seems that it has every option that is in the manual .

thanks, so you think it is going to be a lot of work ? i have been looking under the hood and it seems like it is gonna be a bitch to get the engine out . is there anything else i should look for . i am really hoping that when i throw a battery in it that it turns . i dont need it to start but to at least turn . that way i know that things inside are still attached. any thoughts would be greatly taken . i have been racing vw and working on them for years plus built up a few all race motors , so i know my way around a tool box . but i dont really know much about these . and does anyone know if the 94 came with the 4 wheel steering ? thanks for any help . - allen #53
