Hey folks, I'm new to the site and had a few questions. I just bought a 2003 eclipse GTR about a month ago and in the past couple of weeks I hear this whining sound in the front end. It does this off and on, it quits when I come to a stop, but will sometimes start up again, could anyone help me out here as to what I'm dealing with? also, I've never owned a mitsubishi before, are they a reliable car? can they take a little more pounding than other cars? welcome to the forum, as per your question on reliability, they can be tempramental, you do have to give her attention, however, you can beat her till shes black and blue all over and she'll come back for more............... the whining could be a pully..........
